Survey Programmes

Introduction

Grants may be awarded to Member States for survey programmes concerning the presence of pests.

The current Regulation replaces the co-financing Articles of Council Directive 2000/29/EC on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community.

The transition to Regulation (EU) No 652/2014 was done according to specific rules allowing the co-financing of the survey programmes on the basis of paragraph 6 of article 23 of Council Directive 2000/29/EC.

Templates for submission of survey programmes

Member States wishing to receive a Union financial contribution for survey programmes for pests shall submit an online application, each year, by 31 May at the latest (Art. 21 of Regulation (EU) No 652/2014). If legal deadline is missed, the programmes could not be approved for a Union financial contribution.

Templates for reporting

Member States wishing to receive a Union financial contribution for the implementation of the survey programmes for pests shall submit reports of results of the implementation of survey programmes, as follows:

1. Final report by 30 April each year (Art. 23 of Regulation (EU) No 652/2014)
