About the workshops
The purpose of the workshops was to allow participants to exchange best practices and dialogue on key policy initiatives concerning safety and sustainability of the global food system.
During these events, face to face interactions with selected panellists and the audience allowed for the exchange of views, discussion of measures and research activities that countries can undertake nationally, regionally and internationally.
The Japan workshop was organised on-site in Mid-town-Tokyo premises and online intervention for EC representative had been facilitated during the workshop.
The keynote presentations and discussion panels were formed to provide an open platform to share country-specific knowledge, information and experiences that will be strategically important for developing and strengthening international cooperation on sustainable food system.
