A revised meat inspection has been published. Meat inspection is a corner stone control of public health, animal health and welfare. More focus is given to currently relevant hazards based on EFSA advice (e.g. Salmonella) and most sensitive subpopulations. Conditions for certain flexibility are better fixed.
