EU countries' specific information

In this section, you will find general information regarding the animal health requirements applicable to dogs, cats and ferrets moved into EU countries. Below are the national rules that apply to the movement of animal species not affected by rabies, as well as the ones of no epidemiological significance for rabies (referred to in Part B of Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 576/2013). Finally, you can get the information about the national measures aimed at restricting the movement of certain species and breeds of pet animals on the basis apart from animal health.
