Advisory groups & action platforms
The advisory groups were created to reinforce the Commission’s commitment to consult stakeholders in an open and transparent way early on in the policy-making cycle.
Scientific committees
When preparing its policy and proposals relating to food safety, consumer safety, public health and the environment, the Commission relies on independent Scientific Committees to provide it with sound scientific advice and draw its attention to new and emerging problems.
