Legislation:

European Union maximum limits for Fusarium toxins (deoxynivalenol, zearalenone and fumonisins B1 and B2 ) in cereals and cereal-based products have been established by Commission Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006.

Provisions for methods of sampling and analysis for the official control of fusarium-toxins are laid down in Commission Regulation (EC) No 401/2006.

A guidance document on the application of Commission Recommendation 2013/165/EU has been elaborated together with a simplified data submission format for submitting data to EFSA
